How about centuries of sexual repression and social/religious degradation of women? How about the invention of the camera? How about only in the past hundred years have women been able to have a say in their own lives (and that’s an exaggerated claim on its own) and had the capacity to start taking control of their own sexuality? It’s the freedom and independence that makes it hot. Just because they are showing more skin does not make them sluts or whatever fucking ridiculous point this graphic is trying to make.
